The bridge is located about 5 kilometers east of Pirojpur, Barisal, Bangladesh. The total length of the route is about 2.96 kilometers, including a new super major bridge with a length of 1.493 kilometers, a two lane design, a width of 13.4 meters, and a span of (72+7×122+72)m variable height prestressed concrete rigid frame continuous box girder.
