Guangzhou-Zhongshan-Jiangmen Expressway, referred to as Guangzhongjiang Expressway, formerly known as Jiangfan Expressway, is a key project of interconnection in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The construction of Guangzhou-Zhongshan-Jiangmen Expressway started on December 29, 2010. The first phase project was opened to traffic on December 28, 2016. The second phase project was opened to traffic on December 28, 2017. The third phase project is expected to open to traffic by the end of 2020. Guangzhou-Zhongshan-Jiangmen Expressway starts from Dagang Town, Nansha District, Guangzhou City and ends at Yayao Town, Heshan City, Jiangmen City, with a total length of 67.3km.
