National Highway 312 is an important East-West national and provincial trunk line in Suzhou, which is the main channel connecting Suzhou with Shanghai. The reconstruction and expansion project of Suzhou east section of 312 National Road starts from the intersection with Tongjing Road, passes through Kunshan and Park, crosses three railways and two expressways, ends at the intersection with Xingtang Street, and connects with Suzhou west section of 312 National Road. The total length of the route is about 33km.
