On September 10, 2021, the Bihu Bridge, the only access to Shanhe Island, Yangzhou, was collided by an out of control fleet, and nearly 100 meters of the bridge deck collapsed into the water.
On September 15，2021, Xingtu reached a cooperation with China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group CO., LTD. It is planned to use steel pipe pile foundation with sinking truss beam structure to erect a traffic steel bridge. The design bridge length is 222 metres,the total bridge deck width is 12 metres, the clear bridge deck width is 8 metres, and the maximum span is 36 metres. Xingtu used the independently developed XT300 Truss as the main beam of the steel bridge to replace the traditional bailey plate superstructure, which not only increases the overall structural strength, but also reduces the overall steel consumption.
On October 12, the traffic steel bridge was opened to traffic, and the villagers of Shanhe Village ended their daily life of crossing the river by ferry.
